Matt graduated from the University of Bristol in 2009 with an MSci. in chemistry, having spent his final year working on imaging-analysis of biological tissues using MALDI mass spectrometry. He gained his PhD from Bristol in 2014, writing his thesis on systems of nanoscale protein-crystal templating, and hybrid functional materials systems.
Matt then moved to Japan to take up a position at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology, where he conducted research into hybrid coating materials and other functional surfaces.
Matt joined WP Thompson in 2017, and currently handles a wide range of cases, primarily relating to chemistry, medical devices and biotechnology.
