Chartered Trade Mark and Design Attorney
Matthew graduated with a LLB Law honours degree in 2020. During his degree he completed a wide range of projects including an in-depth analysis on how the landscape of intellectual property could change due to the emergence of NFTs and the Metaverse.
Alongside these projects he also took part in charity work for Citizens Advice as an advisor and an extensive mini pupillage with two members of the Queens Counsel.
Matthew joined WP Thompson at the end of 2021 to work within the Trade Mark department. After completion of the Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice from Nottingham Law School at the end of 2025, he obtained full qualification, entering the Register of Trade Mark Attorneys and becoming a member of the Chartered Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (CITMA).
